I'm a passionate piano teacher based in Ewa Beach, Oahu. I enjoy helping kids find and keep a joy for piano. If they like what they hear, they will be motivated to keep learning throughout their life, with or without lessons. I have experience teaching children of all ages, starting when I was homeschooled in high school. I have been playing for over 18 years and have a wide repertoire from classical to contemporary music, as well as experience composing and improvising. 

My piano journey includes two years of teaching, over four years of leading worship at church, and two semesters completing credits towards a BA in Music. I have also performed as an accompanist and wedding pianist. 

I use a mix of method books, games, learning activities, and individualized repertoire to help students build a solid musical foundation while immediately learning songs they know and love. It's important to me that students work on songs that they enjoy- if I can't find a level-appropriate version of a song they want to learn, I'll make one! 🎼
